About MonakoOffers
MonakoOffers is a small, independent members' digest covering the Mediterranean lifestyle — the dining, the retreats, the seasonal events and the partner offers worth your time, edited with the same care you'd apply to a recommendation for a close friend.
How it began
The digest started as a private email between a handful of friends in the hospitality industry, swapping notes on quiet openings, kitchen changes and the kind of weekend retreats that aren't on the usual booking platforms. It grew, slowly, into the project you're reading now: still small, still personal, but properly published.
Our editorial standards
- We visit before we recommend. Either the editor or a trusted contributor has stayed, eaten or attended every entry in the digest.
- Sponsored notes are clearly marked. When a partner pays for placement, we label it; when we accept hospitality, we disclose it.
- We say no often. A typical edition has six to twelve entries — never more — chosen from many more we considered.
- We don't run third-party ads. The digest is funded by a small partner programme and a paid membership tier.
Membership
The free edition arrives roughly once a month and contains the editorial notes, openings and a short list of partner offers. Members receive an expanded edition with early access to events, a deeper itinerary section and, occasionally, dedicated dinners.
Who reads MonakoOffers
Readers tend to be slow travellers who already know the region a little — people who'd rather spend a long weekend in Liguria than a tasting tour through three countries, and who care about who's actually in the kitchen.
The team
The digest is run from a small studio between Nice and Genoa, with contributors across the Riviera, Liguria, Tuscany, Puglia and the Balearics. We work in English, with occasional pieces in French, Italian and Spanish.
